5 Months Old!

Yesterday, Brayden was 5 months old. We can't believe that time goes by so fast now! Brayden is so much fun at this age. He notices alot more now. He can hold his arms out for us, he is rolling over everywhere, scoots backwards, and has found his feet-he loves to put them in his mouth. His smile just melts us and we love to hear him laugh. The funniest thing to him is when Wrigley(our dog) licks his feet-he will cackle so hard. Here are a couple of pictures from yesterday.

Even though State lost to Tennessee, Brayden went to his first MSU football game. He was wonderful! He was entertained by all the people there. He even took a couple of naps while everyone was screaming. He was worn out by the time we got home though. We were able to spend some time with our friends Leigha and Jason and we also ran into a friend of mine that I had not seen in a few years, Kristy and her husband Michael. It was good to visit with everyone.

Jumperoo

Brayden LOVES his Jumperoo! He jumps for a long time and it keeps him entertained for a while. Here is a picture of him jumping.

Rolling everywhere now!

Brayden is now rolling all over the place! He rolls around his bed. I will lay him down for a nap and he will be at the opposite end of the bed when I go to get him. He rolls off of his blanket on the floor. The other day, Brayden was on his blanket in the living room, I went into the kitchen to get something and came right back and Brayden was heading for the hall way. I guess it's time to baby proof the house now, because crawling will be next!

The Bollinger Family Reunion

Last weekend was the Bollinger family reunion. This will be Bo's mom's side of the family. We went for lunch on Sunday. It was good to see everybody. Some of them had not gotten to see Brayden before today. All 3 of the children were there. Bo has an uncle that lives in South Dakota, so it's hard for him to get down here often. Almost all of the grandchildren and their spouses made it also. Four out of six Great-Granchildren were there. I know Bo's grandparents were glad to have all of us there with them.

Busy Weekend

We had a busy, but fun, weekend. Bo and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary and my brother, Drew, got married.

4 years ago!

I can't believe it's been 4 years, but they have been the best 4 years of my life. Four years ago, I married my best friend. We have gotten to travel together and now we have a wonderful son together. I hope to have many more wonderful years together. I love Bo with all my heart and I thank God for placing him in my life. This pic is one of us leaving the church the day of the wedding and the other one is when we lived in New York. Bo and I went to a steak house here and of course we had the baby with us, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Wedding

My brother, Drew got married this past weekend to Ashley Studdard. They are living in Loxley, AL now. Drew is employed with Software Technology in Mobile and Ashley is employed with an interior design firm in Pensacola. Drew and Ashley had been dating for 8 years! Crazy, huh? It's been a long time and it's good to say now that she is officially part of our family. Our families have known each other for years. Ashley's brother, Jerry, and I graduated together and were close growing up. So, we are glad we are family now. They grew up together in the same church which makes it even more special. We had the rehearsal dinner Friday night at J Broussard's. The food was wonderful. My Aunt Resa did the decorating. It was beautiful considering the space we had to work with. The Bridesmaid's luncheon was also there, but on Saturday. The wedding was at 6:00 Saturday Night. It was beautiful and Ashley looked beautiful also. Ashley had 9 bridesmaids and Drew had 10 groomsmen. Bo and I were both in the wedding. My dad was the best man. Brayden wasn't in it, but he got to enjoy all the fun thanks to Mary Martha. She was our Nanny for the day and night. We got to see lots of family and some of them got to see Brayden for the first time. The reception was at the Country Club, where the band and the good food was! Brayden, by the way, could not have been any better. He held up for everything without fussing a whole lot and even slept thru the band playing for a little bit. We figured he would get really tired, but he didn't. They pulled out in a limo at about 9:30 and headed to Mobile to catch their fight to Antigua. I know they are having a good time now. Here are a few pics from the weekend. I left my camera in the car during the rehearsal dinner AND the reception, so I will have to post pics from it later.

My GIANTS

Sunday.......Here are my 2 Giants. Bo is a big NY Giants fan since Eli Manning plays for them. He has had his jersey, but he found this one for Brayden in Nashville at the OpryMills Mall. He found the jersey before we even found out what we were having. He said that he didn't care if it was a boy or a girl that he/she was going to be wearing this jersey. Sunday was Brayden's first day to wear it and the Giants pulled off a win.

Monday..... I want to wish my friend Mariam a Happy Late Birthday. She turned 27 yesterday. Sorry I didn't get to post it on the day of. I hope you had a great birthday, Mariam!

Checkup

Brayden had his checkup and shots Wednesday. He now weighs 15 lbs and is 25 1/2 inches. He had a good checkup. He didn't feel so well after his shots though. I don't think I would either getting 4 shots in the leg. :(

I want to wish my future sister-in-law, Ashley, a happy late birthday. I was too busy yesterday to post anything. Sorry Ashley. I hope you had a good day! This was the most recent photo I had.

4 Months Old!

Brayden is 4 months old today! He is getting so big. We will go tomorrow for his check up and shots. I will update tomorrow on his weight. He is laughing all the time now and will smile at anyone who will talk to him. He is entertaining himself now... taking less naps and eating more. He loves baby food(we are still on fruits). As you can see in the pictures, he is drooling a lot! My good friend Leigha bought him this outfit. Bo loves the camo pants. Bo and I bought him a new toy today(a jumperoo). Bo is going to have to put it together though. We hope that Brayden will like it too.

Go STATE!

We stayed home to watch State and Auburn play Saturday... Brayden wore his Mississippi State gear..... and it paid off! MS State 19- Auburn 14!! Brayden's uncle Drew gave him this shirt and hat when he was born and it fits perfect now that football season has started.

The Beach

We took a little vacation to the beach this past weekend. We had a lot of fun. Bo had a softball tournament in Panama City, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We went to Fort Walton and stayed with some friends of ours, Laura and Jeff, Wednesday night and Thursday. We went to the beach with MM and Don(Laura's sister) on Thursday. Thursday night, we got to meet up with our friends, Jim, Candise, and their little boy Taylor. Brayden likes to sleep next to the ocean. I guess the waves are soothing to him. We played a game called bolo, which was a lot of fun! Yay to the girls for winning TWICE! Friday, the tournament started and ended for us. The Hoots lost out Friday night, but we still managed to have fun while we were there. All the guys, Michelle, Pam and I got to enjoy the beach all day Saturday! On our way home, we stopped in Mobile to see my brother's new house. I will post pics of it later. He is getting married at the end of this month to a wonderful girl, Ashley Studdard. Brayden did so good this weekend. He was worn out from all the traveling.

Labor Day weekend

We had a busy weekend! Saturday, we went to Bruce to visit with Bo's grandparents. They got to see Brayden again. We made our way over to Pope, MS(which is outside of Batesville) to visit with Bo's cousins. This was their first time to see Brayden. There are 3 girls(Meredith, Mary Clay, and Maggie) and they all had so much love to give to Brayden. They couldn't put him down! :) After that visit, we went to Greenville, which is where Bo is from. We spent 2 nights with his parents. Brayden got to go swimming! At first he didn't like it at all, but loved it after a while. He's still too little to enjoy it. We made it back to Columbus last night and we are heading for Panama City tomorrow night to spent the weekend.

A little road trip

This past weekend, MM and I went on a little road trip. We took Brayden with us. I think he was a little tired of riding by the time we made it to Greenwood. We went to Glen Allan first to visit with Ms. Susanne and her children(Jon-Reed, Rachel, Jordan, Jenna, and Kate). Jenna and Kate are twins. All of them have grown so much since the last time I saw them. We got to see Ms. Sandra while we were there too, along with her grandaughter Hannah. Our second stop was MM's grandparents. They were so excited to see Brayden. The third stop was to my in-laws in Greenville. They had not seen Brayden in a few weeks, so they were also glad to see him. Our final stop was in Greenwood, where we spent the night with MM's parents. We had a good time with everyone.

Here is Brayden Hughes Edmiston. He was born May 18th(on his due date). He weighed 7 lbs 7 oz. He is 3 Months old now and weighs 13 lbs. He is growing fast. He is now cooing all the time and laughing. Bo and I LOVE being parents.

New to this

Hello all. We are just now joining the blogging world. Bo and I have a wonderful son who was born on May 18th, 2007. Just bear with me, this blogging is all new to me. I love looking at everyone's site. It's a fun way to keep up with friends!
